Amendments to idea's:
Our initial idea in foundation is very similar to what it is now. Our original idea consisted of an almost psychological styled thriller stand off between the protagonist and apparent antagonist. However, some differences from our original idea are apparent within our production. While we had originally planned to keep our clip within 3 minutes we had to release some content as it was required to only be 2. Alongside this, ideas that involved either a lot of editing, expensive/unsafe props or cgi were also cut short as these were not only unnecessary but time consuming for our project.
The location we were choosing to film at and the style of location also varied some during the course of our brainstorming. This was due to certain locations being inapplicable due to such heavy footfalls of people, but also the worry of safety and rights to be able to film. We had planned all along to use an alleyway but only once we had done some primary research into what alleyway we might end up possibly using did we find something we could stick too. Our location was Central London, on the side of Oxford Street.
During the time of brainstorming locations, we also had to debate between the type of character we would use, how their past and personality would have an impact on the scene they were in and also what person we would actually use to film with. While we had in mind our actor from the beginning, what they would wear and their occupation and name did cause some controversy within our group.
